Some Scriptures which deal with Sodomy and Judging sin.
I will here mainly give Scripture references which you can look up yourselves, I will limit myself as much as possible in my narration.

Look first to:
Genesis 18:23-33 — Notice in the whole of two cities, Sodom and Gomorrah, cities of perhaps many thousands of people, there were not 10 righteous in Gods eyes. This is also the only sin in which God and Angels actually came to see just how bad it really was. Read Gen. 18:20 and following, “And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.” (emphasis mine) Note no other sin, no other sin, warrants this kind of treatment. Also interestingly three came to Abraham only two actually went into Sodom, the reason God (Jesus Christ) went back to His home, heaven, the only reason the two angels went into the city was to get Lot, and any of his family that wanted to go with him, out.

Genesis 19 — Here we see there was one righteous in Sodom (apparently none in Gomorrah) and as soon as he was removed, all the rest were destroyed, - THAT is what God thinks of this awful sin.

Romans chapter 1 — Read the whole chapter. Notice one of the principle things God uses to show His displeasure in the sin of changing His glory into something else - He gives them over to UNCLEANNESS to dishonor their own bodies vs. 24. and this according to vs. 25 is done to those who have changed the truth of God into a lie.

Some have asked, “Is there a verse in the Bible which says Sodomy (homosexuality, if you will) is bad.” Verses 26-27 say EXACTLY that! The sin of sodomy IS vile and unnatural. As a result, of this unseemly, unnatural behaviour, they receive in themselves the just recompense of their error. LOOK ERROR. “Just recompense”, means due wages. In the workaday world, when an act or job is completed, then a wage is given out. What do you think is the just reward or “wage” for this behaviour? — diseases — and more coming! Think about it for a moment. In direct proportion to the sodomites “coming out of the closet” is the proportion of diseases given. A side note, I am sorry for the “innocents” which must suffer but in all wars the innocent suffer along with the guilty, it is a shame but it is always so.

A summation about God’s feelings on the issue of the sin of sodomy or homosexuality: Leviticus 18:22-25 also 20:13 — I will print out these verses, in their entirety, to be sure you see them:

“Thou shalt nt lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you; And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.”

“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

Look first to:
Romans chapter 2 — This is a great commentary of the verse “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” Mt. 7:1 (Which is almost always taken out of context) The reason, according to this chapter, that things are the way they are (in the last verses of chapter 1) is because the people are guilty of the same things. But does this mean no one is ever to exercise discernment or judgment? Let’s look at some other Scripture. I will just list Scripture again, you read it.

Romans 16:17 — How can you mark those that CAUSE divisions if you have not first, by the word of God, discerned (judged) that they are in error?

I Corinthians 5:2-13 — Paul sums it all up by saying “Put away such a wicked person.”
Philippines 3:17-19 — Ditto

II Timothy 2:19-22 — Follow them that call upon the Lord with a pure heart. This means you must decide who is not, out of a pure heart following, the one who alone is worthy of all our love and joy.

II Timothy 3:16-17 — How can we “Reprove” and “Correct” unless we have first determined that there is someone standing before us who is in need of correcting and is this not judging them? Does not every (good) parent correct their children's misbehavior? did they not first judge the child of being in error?

Read in closing II Timothy 3:1-17 a sad picture of our generation - THE last days.

Much more, many more, could be shown here but the Scriptures also say in I Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

The reason for all discipline, which is really what we are talking about here, is to bring them back to true fellowship. Allow me to cite one Scripture here, which you have already read, to show this (the emphasis is mine):

To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.”  I Cor. 5:5

ALL this is done so that the person (presumably a believer) will return to a right relationship with the Heavenly Father who loves them and gave His Son so they can have life, joy and peace. And that more abundantly. John 15:11
