The above two statements have cost more souls than I can imagine. Grieving for a lost mate may be what started this snowball rolling. Think about it with the previous subject on "Christian Humanist" in mind. You and your husband see yourselves as good people and you believe there is "a god".

Then the unthinkable happens. Your husband dies. Now, here's the tough question, "Are you going to send him to hell?" The answer is No! So, you start telling everyone how you look forward to seeing him again in heaven. If someone is rude enough to ask about your husbands walk with Jesus, the humanism in you leaps out.

You report with, "My husband was a good man, I don't believe God would send such a man to hell", or "My husband and I have 'good fruits' in our children and the Bible says that a tree with 'good fruits' will not be hewn down. This is such a misunderstanding of scripture.

Does the Bible teach a person with 'good fruits' is heaven bound, or does it teach that there is no such thing as a person with 'good fruits?'.

The Bible teaches, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one" Romans 3:10, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23, "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." Isaiah 64:6, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." 1John 1:8

As you read and think about the above four verses, and there are many many more that teach this same thing, please see that saying someone is righteous, goes against God's Word. If you say someone was good and deserved God's glory, you are going against God's Word. If you say someone was or is righteous, you are going against God's Word. And lastly, if you say you or someone else is without sin, you are going against God's Word.

Now, is there a fix for this problem with sin that would allow a person to be born again and enter the kingdom of heaven? The answer is "Yes"

First, know you cannot save yourself. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" Titus 3:5, "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." Galatians 2:16

There are many many verses that talk about this subject. Just read the verses. A man cannot be justified by anything he does.

Do you want to go to heaven? Do you believe you are a good person and that there is a God? Then you are NOT going to heaven. I have shown you scripturally that there are NO good people. If you fall under the category of a Christian humanist, you are hell bound. Let's look at the remedy.

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19, "Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." Acts 20:21

So if you 'feel like' you are a good person or you 'believe' God would not send a good person to hell, YOU ARE WRONG! You are a Christian humanist, believing in this false gospel of humanism. It is time for you to receive Christ as your savior today.
